The Harb lived in the central part of Nejd and the Hijaz.

They became Ikhwan between 1915 and 1918. They participated in several Saudi wars. Their leader was Muhsin al-Firm.

The name of the tribe was known in the time of the Prophet Muhammed, peace be upon him.
