Abdul Rahman bin Faisal Al Saud (2)
In March of 1901, Abdul Rahman bin Faisal used all his good offices to persuade Sheikh Mubarak al Sabah of Kuwait to assist him in reclaiming his lost territory.

Sheikh Mubarak and Abdul Rahman mounted an expedition against the Al Rashid (who were led by Abdul Aziz bin Mutaib Al Rashid, known as Ibn Rashid). The expedition comprised a powerful military force supported by a number of important bedouin leaders but, when some of the bedouin participants defected to the Al Rashid, Abdul Rahman and Sheikh Mubarak were defeated at the battle of Sarif, near Unaizah.
