At the end of their deliberations, Ibn Saud and King Farouk issued a joint statement in which they averred once again that Palestine was an Arab country and that all Arabs were entitled to ensure that it remained so. They expressed their commitment to the cause of Arab unity and their faith in the Arab League as a means towards this goal.
