Saudi Arabia's terms for peace with Yemen
The terms demanded by Ibn Saud included:

- the abdication of the Imam,

- the occupation by Saudi forces of certain frontier regions for five years,

Perhaps to encourage Imam Yahya to make a decision quickly, there were messages from Makkah that Ibn Saud was even considering the annexation of Yemen and the appointment of one of his sons as Governor in place of the deposed Imam.
