Abdullah Suleiman becomes Ibn Saud's personal treasurer
Abdullah Suleiman, a man of the Unaizah, born into a long-established merchant family of the Nejd, was put in charge of the Kingdom's finances.

Abdullah Suleiman had undergone some training in commerce in Bombay before joining Ibn Saud's staff. In the service of the King, he proved himself to be an excellent steward of the Kingdom's resources. He also showed an ability to adapt to changing circumstance when the Kingdom's coffers began to fill and he continued to exercise sound financial control.
