Iraqi government starts to build police posts in the desert
Alarmed by Ikhwan raids across the border into Iraq, the Iraqi government decided to act on the recommendation of John Glubb (later known as Glubb Pasha) and establish police posts in the desert between Ibn Saud's domains and Iraq in order to exercise some degree of control over the tribes.
