Ibn Saud orders tribes owing him allegiance to join the Ikhwan

Ibn Saud commanded that all the tribes under his authority must join the Ikhwan. By converting the nomadic bedouin into settlers in rural communities, Ibn Saud could institute religious education for the many tribesmen whose knowledge of Islam had been perfunctory and alloyed with superstition.
